COMPANY INFORMATION
WINTEC was founded in 1964 by John Winzen for the primary purpose to produce high quality/high performance filters and propellant management devices for commercial business, Aerospace and Commercial/Military Aviation Industries. The company was acquired by Brunswick Corporation in 1972 as part of an expansion program of its Technetics Division and was subsequently acquired by WINTEC, LLC in December of 1995. WINTEC, LLC operates as a stand-alone "small business" enterprise and continues its 32 year history of fabricating superior and uniquely engineered products to meet specific customer requirements.
Filters are typically constructed from porous metallic media,
primarily woven Stainless Steel micronic cloth and are used to
filter out contaminants ranging as low as one micron in particle
size. To attain this level of performance, WINTEC, LLC starts
with precleaned components and performs manufacturing/assembly
operations in a Clean Room certified to Class 10,000.
