Under the direction of the Manager of Programs Office, coordinates all phases of assigned programs/projects from inception through completion. Responsible for the day-to-day project management and administration of established procedures and processes. Acts as the project focal point for internal coordination and reports to Program Management. Communicates the required work of employees assigned to the program/project from technical and administrative areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide overall program coordination of the entire program ensuring optimal satisfaction of all program objectives.
Coordinate with all team members to assure cooperation and continued focus on program objectives.
Coordinate with customer to continually assure that issues are quickly resolved and that expectations are properly managed.
Responsible for follow up on progress of overall deliverable content and quality, schedule and cost control.
Assure that communication flows to team members at all levels as appropriate.
Responsible for maintaining established profit objectives.
Assists in providing input for monthly estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Earned Value (EV) to Finance/Management on all major programs (programs in excess of $100K).
Communicates stop/restart directives by program manager and/or charges.
Communicates all approved out-of-scope expenditures.
Analyze plan status and conduct risk analyses.
A demonstrated ability to assimilate new and varied tasks quickly. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Position requires strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be self-starting, team oriented and able to work with supervised direction from Manager, Program Office. Proficiency with MSOffice (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four year college or university; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
