Sr. Pricing Analyst

SUMMARY:
Prepares cost proposals in response to customer solicitations using historical cost data and estimates from functional areas in developing final pricing objectives.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares cost proposals in resonse to customer solicitations
• Analyzes and estimates all costs required to satisfy quote specifications
• Evaluates historical data and utilizes input from other functional areas to develop final proposal pricing
• Monitors major program performance through earned value and other analyses
• Performs other related assignments as required

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

• BA degree in Accounting/other education/certification a plus.
• Minimum of five (5) years accounting experience in manufacturing, preferably in a job costing environment
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Cost Estimator/Pricing Analyst
• Proficient in Excel and related Microsoft operating software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ability to interface professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
