Supply Chain Analyst

SUMMARY:
Responsible for collecting and analyzing various supply chain reports to ensure adherence with procedures, cost saving targets, and overall strategic goals of supply chain team.  Serve as SIOP (S&OP) coordinator for collection of demand and supply profiles. Coordinate various supply chain continuous improvement initiatives aligning with strategic supply chain objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect, analyze and facilitate supply chain metrics and  KPI’s.

Collect and report on SIOP demand profile. Work closely with internal suppliers, planning team and master schedule to develop a supply profile that is achievable and cost competitive.

Advise supply chain team on required continuous improvement initiatives to achieve objectives.

Analyze a large volume of data for planning, purchasing, supplier quality, stockroom, and inventory control and develop recommendations based on findings.

Lead SIOP (S&OP) meetings between cross functional departments

Review historical data, demand drivers, sales forecasts, financial projections and prepare recommendations for inventory policy deployment and initiatives for lead-time reduction and cost reductions.

Analyze forecast, demand and supply accuracy and work with functional managers to streamline, improve and increase accuracy rates.

Identify risk based on data collection and provide recommendations.  Validate data integrity in ERP and identify risk areas.

Facilitate formatting of supply chain procedures and serve as primary contact for any supply chain procedure changes/updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Direct knowledge or experience with material planning, master scheduling, SIOP (S&OP) and supplier quality functions. Strong time management and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. Advanced/Expert level proficiency in MS office applications and Visio.  Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or Data Analytics. Master’s or MBA degree preferred.   A minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of supply chain related experience including a minimum of three (3) years of direct hands-on experience in a complex supply chain and manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze large set of data sets.
